The live electronic 3-piece, consisting of Benjamin Woolner, Michael John and Harry Sayers, unveiled their debut single 'Listen to Soul, Listen to Blues' on June 1, and received a great deal of support from Triple J presenters, eventually landing an addition to high-rotation by September.

The single climbed its way to #1 in the iTunes Electronic charts, received international air-time on US college radio, XFM (UK), GeorgeFM (NZ) and Amazing Radio. They were interviewed by Rosie Beaton for the Producer Series on Triple J Unearthed Digital Radio, and have wasted no time out on the stage, supporting tours for the likes of R f s and Oliver Tank, as well as warming stages for international profiles including Disclosure, AlunaGeorge, and Rudimental. With new music on the way, SAFIA are one of Australia's most exciting emerging acts, set to take things to the next level in 2014.
