Formed while staring at the black mold on the ceiling of an inner west sharehouse, Safety First are emerging as a fan favourite of the Sydney indie scene. Lead singer Lexi Green's relatable observations and natural quirkiness somehow find their natural place among alt-rock guitars as the whole band unites in an all or nothing attempt to embrace their own flaws and insecurities. Diary Entry is the first release from Safety First.

Depending on your mood, Diary Entry could be a literal diary entry, a song about diary entries or even a diary entry about diary entries. Set the day after an awkward conversation, it’s a confused attempt to reconcile emotions with reality and a much needed acknowledgement of dying house plants everywhere.

Diary Entry is out 26th August.
