Roz Girvan is an accomplished songwriter and performer, known for her ability to find the extraordinary in the everyday. A mainstay in Melbourne's roots music scene, Roz's career includes the release of her critically acclaimed 2017 album East, celebrated with a sold-out show at Melbourne’s Spotted Mallard. Her song “Where Has She Gone” was selected by Brian Wise(3RRR) to feature in a 2018 Americana Festival sampler in Nashville.

Roz has worked with an array of talented musicians, including Greg Field, Jeb Cardwell, Suzannah Espie, and many others. She’s also collaborated with artists like Gallie and performed at prominent festivals such as the Port Fairy Folk Festival. Her band High Horses, active from 2005 to 2011, was a key part of Melbourne's alternative country scene.

In 2025, Roz will launch her highly anticipated album Ordinary Heart on May 25th at the Brunswick Ballroom. Produced by Douglas Lee Robertson, the album features 10 original songs and will be performed with an all-star band: Douglas Lee Robertson (bass/guitar), Ben Franz (pedal steel), Greg Field (violin/mandolin), Danny McKenna (drums), Bridget a’Beckett (keyboard/violin), Sam Leman (guitar), and several special guests.
