Following on from rapturously received performances with Mac De Marco, today POND announces a one-off headline show in Fremantle. The five-piece will take the stage at Freo.Social on the rescheduled date of Saturday 7 November. 

2019 was a milestone year for the prolific and one-of-a-kind collective. POND’s eighth studio album Tasmania debuted at #15 on the ARIA album chart and #2 on the AIR independent chart in March.  Their most critically acclaimed album to date, Tasmania features the  alt-pop anthem Daisy, psychedelic space romp Sixteen Days, the grandiose The Boys Are Killing Me and spatial adventure Burnt Out Star.  

The release was followed by a live studio album Sessions in November.  Recorded during their European tour, Sessions featured the exhilarating album cut Don’t Look at the Sun (Or You'll Go Blind).  The live fan-favourite contains a reference to Six Pack by ESG and Firestarter by The Prodigy.  

Continuing to expand their performance resumé, in the past year POND has performed sold-out headline shows across the nation and extensive tours of North America, Europe and the UK.   They’ve also performed a slew of festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Glastonbury, Primavera, We Love Green and many more.
