Paul Kelly versus Neil Finn / Crowded House, which one has produced the more memorable music ?

Both artists boast a songbook of classics which have stood the test of time and are interwoven through the fabric of our lives.

Neil Finn with Crowded House offerings like Better Be Home Soon, Don’t Dream It’s Over, Weather With You, Distant Sun, Something So Strong & Mean To Me. Paul Kelly with Before Too Long, Darlin’ It Hurts, To Her Door, How To Make Gravy, Dumb Things and From Little Things Big Things Grow. The list goes on!

It’s the Australia Day weekend so don’t miss out. Come and celebrate with a band qualified to make these songs sound great. They are:  


Mike Caen - vocals/guitar (x Dragon / Mental As Anything / Jenny Morris / Margaret Urlich)

James Scott - Sydney/New Zealand  live circuit veteran and singer songwriter “ First Time Caller “

Peter Gray – vocals/bass (x Mental As Anything, Mal Eastick ,Dave Warner)

Tim Wedde - keyboard, piano / accordion vocals  (x Jenny Morris, The Flood, The Mockers)

Ivan Jordan - drums  (he’s played with everyone!)

If you'd like to combine separate dinner and show tables, please email team@thevanguard.com.au with both purchasers full name and booking number to avoid being seated separately. Tables cannot be combined on the night.

All children under 18 not permitted including small children and babies. Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Drivers Licence or Passport. Intoxicated persons will not be admitted. No thongs, steel cap boots, or spiked attire. Dangerous  behaviour including Crowd Surfing, Stage Diving, Moshing and Violent Dancing is not allowed and will result in your immediate removal from  this venue. Inappropriate behaviour at this venue will lead to your banning.
