To kick off our new Out on the Deck series of free live music every Saturday arvo on the freshly renovated Deck & Beer Garden, we have CHECKERBOARD LOUNGE with JOJO SMITH!!

From deep within the veins of Melbourne’s music scene, Checkerboard Lounge has become a cult-like underground institution. The brainchild of renowned singer and drummer Carl Pannuzzo, the band has evolved over thirty years; breathing fire, virtuosity and improvisation into classic soul and roots originals.

JoJo Smith is an inspirational performer who takes her audiences on a lyrical, musically diverse journey of blues, soul, funk, R&B, latin and jazz.
