Taronga Zoo is renowned as one of the most memorable foreshore venues for New Year’s Eve, offering a unique experience for couples and individuals and a fun, safe and stress-free atmosphere for families. You can bring your own picnic as well as purchase food and drinks on-site.  All proceeds from ticket sales support Taronga’s Conservation work 

Taronga offers three outdoor picnic style ticketed areas on NYE

DIAMOND:

Venue: Harbour View Lawns. Gates open 7:00pm 

Cost: $600 per person

Inclusions:

• Exclusive and best views of Sydney Harbour and Bridge for the midnight fireworks* in an intimate area
  
• Secure parking on-site or complimentary park and ride service from Spit Junction
• Live entertainment
• A chance to experience some of Taronga’s wildlife until dark on your NYE trail in each section.
• 1 x Premium food hamper and the choice between 1 x bottle of wine or 4 x beers to share between 2 people
• Zoo gift bag
  *The 9pm family friendly fireworks display have been cancelled this year, meaning only the main midnight show will go ahead.

Venue: Bird Show Amphitheatre & Condor Lawns. Gates open 6:30pm 

Cost: Adults $300, Children $195 (4-15 years) and Families (2 x Adults + 2 x Child) $900 Children three years and under are free

• Magnificent views of Sydney Harbour and Bridge for the midnight fireworks*
• Secure parking on-site or complimentary park and ride service to and from Spit Junction
• A chance to experience some of Taronga’s wildlife until dark on your NYE trail in each section.
• Live entertainment
  *The 9pm family friendly fireworks display have been cancelled this year, meaning only the main midnight show will go ahead.
• BYO food and non-alcoholic beverages in sealed containers

Venue: Concert Lawns. Gates Open 6:00pm 

Cost: Adults $200, Children $110, Families (2 x Adults + 2 x Child) $568 Children three years and under are free

• Complimentary park and ride service to and from Spit Junction
• Limited secure parking on-site for an additional fee
• A chance to experience some of Taronga’s wildlife until dark on your NYE trail in each section.

Kick start your New Year’s Eve with a delicious Premium Hamper filled with delicious food & drinks!

Taronga is committed to achieving sustainable outcomes & reducing environmental impacts in key areas such as waste management. As of 2017, we introduced our minimal waste hamper with all the delicious bites packaged inside a re-usable wooden box. 

All of our packaging is made out of 100% cornstarch based compostable material. We maintain a separate waste stream that allows all compostable packaging to actually be turned into compost, including our unique 100% compostable food packaging, straws, cutlery, coffee cups and lids sold in our food outlets and cafes.

Parking onsite at Taronga Zoo

Additional parking onsite at Taronga Zoo can be purchased for $60. Alternatively, each ticket also includes a complimentary park and ride service to and from Spit Junction. Diamond and Gold tickets add on include free parking (1 between 2 tickets purchase).
