Nepathya, a well-known and highly-regarded band from Nepal, is known for blending traditional folk melodies with a classic rock sound. They have gained a large following both in Nepal and internationally. In recognition of the large Nepalese community in Australia and their love for Nepathya, 8848 Entertainment will be hosting a live performance by the band in Canberra on Friday, February 3rd, 2023 at the Manning Clark Centre ANU in the ACT. Nepathya is a well-established Nepalese folk rock band that has been active since the 1990s. Over the course of the past three decades, the band has become extremely popular and widely recognized for their contributions to the music scene in Nepal. They are considered trendsetters within the Nepalese community.

Their popularity can be seen through their impressive numbers on streaming platforms such as Spotify, where they have over 45,000 monthly listeners, and on YouTube, where they have 67 million views. Additionally, they have the distinction of being the first Nepalese band to perform in the UK, where they played to an audience of 80,000 at Wembley Stadium. Nepathya is often referred to as "the greatest band of Nepal" and are known for blending traditional folk melodies with more youth-friendly pop and rock music.
