Hi friends of HK, our Nai Palm / Swooping Duck Sydney shows are going to be postponed due to the Coronavirus.
The Government has now banned gatherings for 100+ people as of this morning, but we aren't going to be playing any size live shows for the foreseeable future and feel that social distancing is the best practice to stop the spread of the infection and putting others risk, especially the elderly, those with compromised immune systems and Indigenous communities.
Tickets will be refunded and we will return to Mary's Underground when all this blows over....
It's a crazy time for everyone.
Our livelihoods have depended on income from live touring for the 9 years we have existed as a band, and it looks like that will change for perhaps a long time.
We're also at the tail end of making our 3rd record, so really, nothing is going to stop us.. and as such the shows must go on, but they will be live-streamed via our new Patreon page which is live now!
This is where we are now gonna live, and we invite all our fans to go deep down the rabbit hole with us.
We would be so grateful for your support during this time, and we hope we can provide you with something special to help make these unique times more enjoyable.
Here you can become a Patreon member for $5 and cop our weekend live streams as well as a whole host of goodies we will be rolling out in the coming weeks: https://www.patreon.com/

Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote is coming to Sydney for a very special intimate solo-show at Mary's Underground on Saturday, March 21st 2020.
Nai Palm is the kind of artist that arrives once in a generation. A two-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and musician from Australia, she is a composer, instrumentalist, producer, vocalist and poet who approaches these self-taught disciplines with an intuitive, infectious grace, which has sent her on a journey to sculpt songs that have been received and treasured across the world. It is a world she has travelled many times over with her band Hiatus Kaiyote who, along with Nai Palm, have become household names since they first began playing together in Melbourne in 2011.
With her music championed by RnB and hip hop’s most respected tastemakers and icons including Questlove, Jazzy Jeff, Erykah Badu and Prince, being nominated for a Grammy for her single with Q-Tip, and her music sampled for Anderson .Paak’s album 'Malibu', opening Drake’s album 'More Life', and closing Kendrick Lamar’s album 'DAMN', Nai Palm is truly in a category of her own.
