game.set.trap is a trap-jazz collective performing hip-hop, R&B, and trap hits with a fresh concept. Holding tightly to jazz traditions with energetic swing feels, instrumental soul-jazz treatments, and even incorporating tap dancers as regularly featured guests, this collective brings a modern approach to the table.
The spirit and audience interaction bring a new life to arrangements of music from Kevin Gates, Doja Cat, Rae Sremmurd, Travis Scott, Fetty Wap, Cardi B, and more. Previous performances include a US tour at profile venues, multi-year residency at Poetry Jazz Cafe as the top earner, 1-year residency at Friday Roots (venue/restaurant that I owned until 2020), jazz festivals, and featured sets at SOHO House and events for Red Bull and Facebook.
