Cow bell, shakers, güiro and congas star alongside Wild West guitars, smokey vocals and dry humour in Melbourne’s Louis Valentine & The Golden Age. The seven-piece band play dirty-cowboy-soul tunes sung by a bloke who fancies himself as a "young Joe Cocker without sideburns".

Drawing heavily on Motown, Santana, Clint Eastwood movies and Brit Pop bands from the turn of the century, Louis Valentine & The Golden Age have crafted their own brand of music that speaks for itself in any setting.
