A day that includes an astonishing five Group 1 races (the world's most prestigious class of racing) is headlined by the world's richest race for the finest two-year-olds: the 63rd Longines Golden Slipper worth over $3.5 million.
The world's best horse Winx is earmarked to defend her George Ryder Stakes title following her memorable victory last year.
Rock legend Jimmy Barnes will perform live after the last race, free for all ticket holders.
For fashionistas, the Longines Prize for Elegance is a highlight.
