We know your speakers are still buzzing from blasting their brilliant third album Yumeno Garden all weekend, but Brisbane indie rockers, Last Dinosaurs, are set to get you pumped up once again with the announcement today that they'll be taking the record on the road in early 2019 for a national Australian tour.
The trio of Sean Caskey, Lachlan Caskey and Michael Sloane made the announcement in an interview with triple j Breakfast hosts Ben and Liam this morning, where they also talked about the writing and recording of the fantastic third record, which has already spawned the huge singles 'Domino' and 'Eleven,' as well as the brand-new focus single, 'Bass God.'
The tour will see the band perform club nights in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Their previous east coast tour sold out in a matter of minutes, so it's recommended fans get in quick when tickets go on sale Wednesday, October 10 at 9am ADST, so as not to miss out.
Taking inspiration from ghost towns in Japan, through to neon cityscapes in America (and everywhere in between), Yumeno Garden has seen fans and critics alike praising the growth Last Dino's have displayed across the eclectic mix of music and influence on their latest record. It's a record that has seen the band recapture the vitality and dynamism of their early releases, while pouring in the experiences and abilities they've learned on the road and in life along the way.
No more can that be heard better than on their brand-new single 'Bass God,' the third big single to drop from the record.
