The authentic punk trio Kill Bell, rooted in Brunswick's music scene, present the release of their heavily anticipated sophomore album 'Trash'. In the lead up to the album the band have released three singles already, 'Not My Type', What Has Become Of Me?' and 'Breakneck' which have received critical acclaim from Australian radio, having notable success and support from Naarm's pbs radio and RRR, Triple J and Triple J Unearthed, Era's fbi radio and Meanjin's 4ZZZ. Following on from the hype of these tracks, Kill Bell are coming in heavy with six brand new songs to share with their fans on Thursday October 3rd.

'Trash' reasserts their punk dominance in the Naarm scene with the release of an album that speaks to anyone who's ever felt the weight of their 20s slipping into the abyss and the creeping dread and confronting realities of getting older, and maybe grumpier. Sonically the album reinstates the band's signature grunge guitar tones, enormous drums and pointed vocals. It's a soundtrack to the spiraling late night rants to your iMessage group chats, the splintering migraines that greet you after a night out and the constant battle between the demands we face Charlie Pass, Kill Bell's lead singer, embodies the main character energy of the trio and the driver of the lyrical sentiments and messages they shout about to their audience. 'Trash' is a 10 track masterpiece that succinctly captures 30 minutes of Charlie's inner diaglogue, an ode that speaks to the underpaid and overworked.

Accompanying her charged lyrics, hard-edged melodies and captivating vocals, Kill Bell's guitarist, producer and songwriter Nick Tam is behind the purposeful and gritty guitar work as well behind the the entire mix and master of the album. Nick said, "I loved being able to mix and master the entire album, because it allowed me to have full creative control.

Track 3 'Ozempic' is a lyrical masterpiece that demands the audience to listen to this rant on society's unrelenting and dangerous pressure on women to look a certain way, and the lengths that people will go to, including taking diabetes medication, to be thin. Kill Bell don't hold back in their searing critique of the body-shaming culture that has a chokehold on 2024.

Providing a visual to track 3 'Server', the band have released a music video shot and edited by Louis. Filmed at the bar 'Leonard's House Of Love', which is Charlie's place of work, the video intended to capture the essence of the drunk, the careless and the self-serving. Charlie has written a song that reflects the juxtaposition of singing at sold out shows to adoring fans some nights, and working at a bar where people treat her poorly on another. Some shots are filmed through the lense of a literal beer glass, intended to capture the point of view of the beer goggled late nighters.

To celebrate the release of 'Trash', Kill Bell are heading interstate. As well as their Naarm launch on Friday 18th of October at The Curtin with support from Ghost Bitch, MILKSICK and Tommy Dynamite, the band head to Eora for their Saturday October 12th Show at The Oxford Art Factory Gallery. Additionally, the band will also be playing regional shows to promote the tour between November and March next year, in Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, ACT and NSW. Having shared the stage They've shared stages with RVG, Leah Senior, Moaning Lisa, Pinch Points and Bughunt, Kill Bell are able to make it known that they don't just play music--they shout, they rage, they demand to be heard. With clothes made out of trash, guitars built from a home shed and a band born from Brunswick, these shows will be unmissable. This isn't just a tour-it's a takeover.
