Founded in 2019 by vocalist/guitarist Ameya and bassist Julia, with the addition of band members Austin and Sam in 2020, Keaper is a Melbourne-based 'dreamo' audiovisual band. They create immersive, guitar-driven music inspired by 90s alternative rock, midwest emo, shoegaze, and artists such as DIIV, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Sundays. 

Doubling as a visual art project, Keaper combines art forms to provide a unique style of escapism reflective of the band’s interest in cinema, illustration and photography. After an exciting and eventful 2024, during which the band released their debut album ‘Waking Dream’, performed close to 50 shows across the country, and put on their own day festival, Keaper are taking a hiatus in 2025. Before they take some time off for personal travel and to focus on other projects, they want to throw one last party for you at Shotkickers. 

Keaper will be joined by Erin Will Be Mad, who weave a hypnotic presence on stage, presenting a rich sonic palette of era-blending music that is moody, dark, emotional, with a pinch of punk at times. Also joining them at Shotkickers is Well Into Winter, a group of friends from North-East Victoria who play alternative folk-rock, expressing their love of dynamic group playing, instrumental explosions and gentle, lyrical moments.
