BARKADA BIO 🌹

Barkada: a word from the Filipino language of Tagalog meaning “group of friends.” ‘The squad’, ride or dies, thick and thins. Family; either chosen or blood. “At the dinner table, the food tastes better with your Barkada.”

Barkada is music fuelled by togetherness, community, sharing, support. Composed and led by multi-instrumentalist Miguel Hutton; his project Barkada seeks to involve the spirit and evoke thoughts and feelings within your body and the bodies around you. Miguel creates from a pallet of jazz, afro-beat, latin, ambient and hip-hop. A collective of musical maestros within his barkada unite to perform moments savoured by the body and spirit. It is music truly written without the limitations of genre.
