Jae Laffer is recognised as one of Australia’s finest songwriters; with his band The Panics he has crafted several albums of classic songs that embrace both stark intimacy and unapologetic cinematic grandeur; a majestic union of sound and poetry. "With years of acclaimed song writing accreditation up his sleeves, Laffer’s music is nothing short of mind-blowing and his vocals are draped in vintage class”.  Drum Media

The Panics won many awards including an Aria and Triple J album of the year for Cruel Guards and sold-out gigs across the UK where they enjoyed high rotation across the nation’s airwaves.

“Jae Laffer’s vivid songs have a voice of their own - Modern hymns for a generation, anthems of rash joy and quiet heartbreak – pop bliss”- Sunday Times UK

Laffer recently scored the soundtrack for a film about Manchester United legend Brian Robson and has just finished recording his third solo album. He will be joined on stage with Grammy award winning pedal steel player Lucky Oceans to play songs from The Panics catalogue and his solo work.
