HOLiDAY MYSTICS
BOCCE
SPOOKY EYES
ALTAR BAR — JAN 11 2025
HOLiDAY MYSTICS are a four piece from Tasmania, AUS/ London, UK, romantically referenced as, “a chaotic Fleetwood Mac and a mystic Red Hot Chili Peppers”, unapologetically merging gritty indie/alt rock with mystic pop. The charming combination of female and male lead vocals land the band in the realm of “A real life Daisy Jones & The Six” and “A modern-day Fleetwood Mac with hints of The xx and 90's grunge”.
Currently working alongside GRAMMY nominated and ARIA award winning producer Adrian Breakspear (Pharrell, Coldplay, Gang Of Youths, Pacific Avenue, The Vanns, Amy Shark) with a focus of defining their sound - 2024 has been a year of strong releases with singles ‘Deliberance,’ a mash-up cover ‘Say It Right/Glue’ (putting an indie/alt rock spin on Nelly Furtado’s pop classic and and EDM giants, Bicep’s ‘Glue’) and the much anticipated single ‘Long Game’ due for release in late November.
The band is building strong followings both in AUS and The UK, touring both territories in consecutive years - recently returning back from the UK after a 12 date tour across the country in August-September 2024. Receiving regular airplay in the UK over the last 12 months, with singles 'WOA' and ‘Deliberance’ being picked up by several stations including BBC Introducing and Radio X. With recent support slots of The Jungle Giants, Holy Holy, Boy & Bear, Boo Seeka, Kim Churchill, The Moving Stills and Seaside the bands cross continental momentum continues into the ‘Long Game’ AUS Tour.
HOLiDAY MYSTICS are for fans of: Florence + The Machine, Sam Fender, The Last Dinner Party, Hozier, Foals, Wolf Alice, London Grammar, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and other alt rock gems that came before them.
