Hauswife is a Berlin born and Melbourne raised musician, DJ, producer and sound engineer. With a life-long background in music and classical and jazz piano, she has quickly risen in the Melbourne scene. In only 2 years of DJing she has built a reputation known for opening for international headliners. Her ability to read a crowd and provide unfiltered energy has made her a household name in Melbourne and a resident at Melbourne’s biggest nightclubs. She delivers a genre-fluid sound that pays homage to electronic music’s heritage whilst imprinting her own unique personality. Her releases take on a natural feel for the warmth and moodiness of lofi and Chicago house, characterised by diverse influences from her background in live music. Hauswife’s palate constantly evolves with an open minded music philosophy, seeing her play anywhere between 125-140bpm. No two Hauswife sets sound alike but one thing remains consistent: absolute groove. She continues to prove herself as a powerful figure in dance music with a momentum and following that is swiftly expanding.
