Death may be the great equaliser, but grief can be completely alienating. While we all know how disorientating mourning can be, nobody really talks about it.

Enter Sally Douglas and Imogen Carn, who, after losing their mothers within months of each other, found that how we handle grief leaves a lot to be desired. Finding it helpful to chat about the strange and poignant ways they were moving forward, the two created Good Mourning, a raw and relatable podcast about grieving now in its sixth season. In February, they published a book of the same name.

Sally and Imogen will be joined by host and comedian Grace Rouvray (600 Bottles of Wine, Heartbreak High) for a refreshing, frank and interactive conversation around death and grief. Join them to tackle (often hilarious) misconceptions, painfully vague aphorisms, and uncomfortable questions. Together, we’ll create a new way to talk about grief.
