The FolkWorld Fairbridge Festival is coming to Pinjarra in April next year.  To whet your appetite, join us as we present a fabulous pre-festival community concert at the Pinjarra Civic Centre.

Offering a fantastic sample of global folk-world-roots music that makes the Fairbridge Festival so special, this concert features lively Spanish bluegrass-Celtic-shanty act El Pony Pisador on tour direct from Catalonia. With their high energy performances, musical virtuosity and irrepressible humour that’s contagious; they’re highly entertaining! The concert also features Indi-folk band Sunny Day, led by local ‘WAM Song of the Year’ award winning singer-songwriter Brooke Bugeja.

Brooke and fellow former Fairbridge Festival Quest wining songwriter, Lachy John, have been teaching songwriting skills to Pinjarra Senior High School students and nurturing the next local musical legends.
