Flickerfest, Australia’s most respected short film festival kicks off the summer cinema season under the stars at our Iconic Bondi Beach this January, screening the best short films from Australia and the world in the relaxed and iconic location of the Bondi Pavilion.
 
Flickerfest received over 3,500 entries from around the world and hand-picked around 160 of the very best, most innovative, provocative and hugely entertaining shorts for our big screen experience all guaranteed to make you laugh, cry and gasp with delight!
 
Flickerfest is Australia’s largest short film competition and the only one with Academy® accreditation and BAFTA recognition ensuring all of our selected films are entertaining, inspiring and highly creative cinema gems.
