Fireball Fest is back this July with another two stages and a plethora of bands from across the country hitting the stage for another night of anarchy at Greaser. If you have attended before, you know the antics that await!

Co-headlining the event we have OK Hotel out of Wollongong, a melodic-driven, alt-rock outfit featuring a sound that is tinged with the grit of 90s post-punk, emo and grunge influences. With the release of their 2020 debut EP ‘Stay Bright’ the 3-piece proved that they are a force to be reckoned with, growing a cult like following that has continued through their later releases. OK Hotel are a band on the rise in the Australian scene, taking their show all across the east coast and now bringing their energetic sets to Greaser for Fireball Festival.

Joining OK Hotel as headliners we have the Melbourne supergroup LOSER. If you are nostalgic for a time when Nirvana and Foo Fighters dominated the radio, then LOSER are the band for you! This Melbourne supergroup features Tim Maxwell (Apart From This/Grim Rhythm), Chris Cowburn (The Smith Street Band) and Craig Selak (The Bennies) coming together to create fuzzed out alt-rock in the vein of the 90s and 00s highs. Their debut self-titled single ‘Loser’ was an instant hit, gaining recognition from some of the biggest names in the Australian scene and amassing over half a million streams. If you aren’t familiar with the guys yet, then get to it!

Heading up the supports for the night is Something Something Explosion. A band that refuses to blend into the background of the Australian Music Scene, Something Something Explosion have brought to life an unprecedented and rare sound that makes you long for the 1990s. Their 2018 EP ‘Propaganda Machine’ gives its audience a broke twenty-something’s viewpoint on issues such as modern politics, society’s so-called development and unfair treatment in the workplace due to age and social status. Supporting bands like The Bennies, WAAX, Kingswood and British India, it is clear to see that we aren’t the only ones liking their tunes.

Rounding out the rest of the line-up we have Council Grounds, Morningside, Two Times Shy, Peace Ritual, Wife Cult, Lamphead and Special Features. Grab your tickets and join us down the alleyway for two stages of debauchery for Fireball Fest 2024!
