The 2024 Sonic Poetry Festival: Poetry That Sounds Like All of Us presents Falling Awake: A Night of Poetry, featuring readings by Naarm guest-poets: Lisa Gorton, Roslyn Orlando, Anders Villani, Ouyang Yu, Catherine de Saint Phalle & Loretta Riach. Named for Alice Oswald’s astonishing collection, Falling Awake will bring us poems that invite poetic attention: poems to wake us, poems to ease us out of winter, poems as oars in uncertain times. Hosted & curated by Eartha Davis & Jaye Kranz. Sunday 25th of August @ 6pm at the Brunswick Artists Bar, 316 Sydney Rd, Brunswick.
