The musician and songwriter, until this point best known for his work with Grammy-nominated indie-electronic trio Mansionair, presents a heart-led and sonically rich collection of music that aims to provide the listener with an avenue to escape; a soundtrack to become immersed in. Moreover, the ELMAR project offers an insight into a uniquely introspective and creatively-defining period of Froggatt’s journey to date. 

For Froggatt, ELMAR fulfils a vision that “soundtracked my favourite moments with friends on summer camping trips, drives through beautiful coastline scenery, and late night mescals by the fire.” More than a passing desire, it’s the yearning for these experiences that laid the foundation for the broader project. 

Built upon a foundation of organic and acoustic beats, flourished with earthy melodies, ELMAR was co-produced by Froggatt and long-time collaborator, Ross James (Upsidedownhead). Their shared history led to a clear level of trust established between the duo early. For Froggatt, taking his initial steps as ELMAR brought some nerves with it, but ultimately, this is a record that remains true to his current perspectives and observations on life.
