Got a great idea for a podcast, but don’t know the first thing about editing audio? In this practical workshop, Chris Mottes (Hindenburg) and Giordana Caputo (Community Media Training Organisation) teach you how to take your tape and turn it into a podcast.
This is a hands-on workshop for beginners, where you'll learn the building blocks of audio editing including setting up a session, making your voice sound great, basic editing techniques and some special tips and tricks for great sound.
There are two workshop sessions, one at 12.00pm and one at 2.30pm. Please book into the session you'd like to attend.
This session is part of the Audiocraft Podcast Festival 2019. Want to round out your weekend with more podcasting magic? Check out the full Festival program here.
Please note:
For this workshop you can either bring your own laptop with Hindenburg pre-loaded or use a Windows laptop at the CMTO.
Be sure to check your inbox for an email from your workshop hosts two weeks out - they'll be sending you instructions and links to material you should download to prepare.
In this email you will also receive a 4-month extension on the standard conference 2-month trial that all attendees can download from the Hindenburg website two-weeks prior to the conference.
This event is suitable for people aged 16+.
