Drift make their debut performance at La la la’s 15/08/2020. Drift is a project at creating easy listening

material intertwined with emotional soundscapes and emotions. Drift started late 2019 in a small bedroom

whilst constantly spinning DIIV, my bloody valentine and slow dive records, we were inspired to start

writing something new and exciting. Each song is written about a past event or memory with the sound of

the piece describing the emotion felt at that time. With nods to shoegaze and alternative 90s sounds “drift” is a combination of all of it with a tasteful twist. Supported by dream pop/psych band “Dial tone”
