Projects in the Jungle (Duke Hotel)!
DIMEDAY 2024 is back and in a new venue! This year we're bringing a wealth of local regional NSW talent with the biggest name in Australian Heavy Metal: KING PARROT!
Slotting nicely between their Australian tour with WEEDEATER and before they decimate the UK and Europe opening for the one and only Pantera, KING PARROT will be gracing the stage of DIMEDAY for their first visit to Wagga. Do they even need an introduction at this point? KING PARROT have earned the reputation as one of Australia’s most ferocious and chaotic live metal acts having created a sound and identity uniquely their own through years of punishing the road on countless tours both here and abroad. Combining elements of grindcore, death and thrash metal and hardcore punk, the sound is infused with their own distinctive and unmistakable approach.
Black Tooth - The Australian Pantera Show are Australia's finest tribute to the hellraisers from Texas, USA and will be bringing us a full set of Pantera covers so we can all celebrate the music of Pantera and the life of the great man.
From playing their very first gig opening at DIMEDAY 2021, Wagga locals Artifact have been crushing it supporting domestic and international bands across the country. Artifact are a dark and melodic metalcore act delivering crushing riffs and haunting melodies backed by the striking contrast of vocalists.
Fucked if I'd know how you'd describe Trancestate but they put on a hell of a show. The boys are no strangers to DIMEDAY having played in bands back when we were at the Home but this is the first time Trancestate will be playing DIMEDAY. Hot on the heels of a social media scandal, Trancestate will be bringing us their new album, All Fur Coat No Undies.
Hailing from Canberra, "Bring Your Own Band (B.Y.O.B)" is the ultimate System of a Down tribute band, capturing the intensity and energy of SOAD’s iconic sound. They deliver a hard-hitting performance that pays homage to the raw power and unpredictable rhythms of the original.
The Incantus started out as a solo project in little old Wagga before coming to life down in Melbourne. Since their first show earlier this year, opening for Spanish thrash legends Angelus Apatrida as you do, The Incantus have been lighting up the stage with their Celtic pagan melodic death ever since.
Alpha Cult are a three-piece metal band from regional NSW bringing their slice of modern metal to Wagga for the first time.
Throughout the night Debz will be spinning metal tracks in the outdoor area to keep you entertained between bands.
