Dave Johnson is a legendary, much loved, Fremantle song writer, with a timeless collection of songs deeply rooted in old school country/folk. He taps into everything that makes genuine country/folk music unique and beautiful: raw e motion, deep groove and clever storytelling.

Dave’s new album - INEQUALITY BLVD – tackles subject matter ranging from the maltreatment and oppression of refugees and immigrants through to how the ever-increasing socio-economic divide plays out on the streets of our communities. Insightful, thought provoking, the album is tender and brimming with characters who are struggling to stay afloat in an increasingly, blindly narcissistic and dangerous world.

Supports on the night are from Helen Townsend/Shannon Smith and the wonderful blues jazz singer and proud Ngarluma woman- LOIS OLNEY.

“Lois leaves the room silent, no one wants to breath in case they miss a note” – AUSTRALIAN ARTS REVIEW
