Coalesce 005 w/ Alice Longyu Gao, SEBii, CultShøtta X Oh Boy + more

Taking the Brightside by storm, the fifth instalment of Coalesce pushes the boundaries of pop and electronic music with a hyper lineup of artists leading the scene both locally and abroad. We're excited to bring our second show to QLD.

Headlining Coalesce is US-based visionary and icon Alice Longyu Gao (China) known for their genre-defying and high energy performances. Gao's output is not constrained by one medium, working as a DJ, curator and fashion producer alongside institutions such as like MoMA, Juicy Couture and Nike. They began releasing music independently in 2018 and gained recognition with the release of singles like "Rich Bitch Juice," produced by 100 Gec's Dylan Brady on his Dog Show Records.

Alice will be joined by SEBii, a Chinese-American artist and producer known for his upbeat pop rap sound that encompasses elements glitchcore and nightcore. SEBii begun his career a member of the Iced Out Angels and Neilaworld rapper and producer collective, which included including members such as Ericdoa and Glasear. Sebii’s music came to prominence in 2018, often featuring Yu-Gi-Oh references, a reference to his personal life as a competitive TCG player.

Filling out the line-up is a special one off performance by none other than Cult Shotta with collaborative work from Oh Boy. Watch their historically hip hop heavy lyricism and performance meld with club ready production for the first time. Artist on the rise Bbianca will also be playing live.

Alongside them, Sydney greats and Coalesce favourites AGONY on the DJ duties, with 14strk also providing a soundtrack to the night.
