Hailing from the South Coast of Adelaide, Choosing Sides are one of the most energetic and contagiously fun young acts to recently emerge on the Australian indie-rock scene. Having spent part of their childhood in the UK, brothers Will and Frankie cannot help but add a sprinkle of Brit-Pop-esque charm and alt-rock grit into their Aus indie inspired sound. This distinguished medley of styles has seen Choosing Sides produce a delightful brand of indie rock, where catchiness meets charm. With the addition of Ella in 2023 her focus on guitar tones and alt-rock shoegaze inspired production - the band is quickly transforming their sound. In 2024 they re-emerged with an ambitious, cinematic wall-of-sound set in a contagious alt-rock package. This has elevated the band's sound to transform and explore catchier atmospheric lead lines not recorded in their current catalogue.

Choosing Sides are releasing their long anticipated two track which pulls at the heart strings in a perpetual flow and explores the themes of being addicted to someone but it isn't necessarily what is best for them. The song has heavy themes of indie pop influence whilst still having the transition between the two be a high energy alt-rock fusion.

Joining them on the stage are the electrifying Pash. Pash’s earthquaking hybrid of alternative pop and 80s rock is bred from the ethos of ‘if it feels flavourful to us, it’ll feel even better shared. And the juicy fresh Blue Lucy. Blue Lucy is Adelaide’s very own four-piece public freakout machine who strive to bring you nothing but a good time with their indie rock and punk vibrations. It would mean the world to everyone here if we could all come down and really choose the same side for one last time and celebrate the band's massive send off for a while.
