After returning earlier this month with their first track in 2019, Melbourne duo REMI today release the weird and wonderful visual for “5 A.M.” feat. Whosane. The pair also announce their only headline tour dates for 2019 this November, presented by House of Beige and Niche.
After premiering on triple j Good Nights, “5 A.M.” has found a world of love across the nations airwaves. Directed by cinematographer and filmmaker Barun Chatterjee, the video sees the trio wide-awake at 5am. In the dark and moody early morning, they weave through genres and moods with dynamic aesthetics and styling to match. Combining Remi Kolawole’s vocals with Sensible J’s world-class production and peaking with an old-school soulful R&B bridge thanks to Whosane, it is no surprise why theduo continue to hold reign at the top of Australia’s world class hip hop sphere.
