Garage punk saviors the Black Lips return to New Zealand for the first time in over 10 Years.

Following their recent addition to Geelong’s Tent Pole Festival in March 2023, Atlanta’s garage-rock provocateurs Black Lips have announced an Australian and New Zealand tour.

Kicking off in Auckland before jetting into Melbourne, the tour will see the band cover terrain in Wollongong, Sydney and Brisbane, before settling in Fremantle for their final night.  

Upon their impending arrival, it will have been eight years and three albums since Black Lips last stepped foot on Australian soil and since that visit, the notorious rock’n’roll outfit has undergone a momentous transformation in both musical style and lineup.

Their latest offering, this year’s critically acclaimed LP Apocalypse Love signalled a new era for the shape-shifting outfit, catapulting the band out of the garage where their original sound was carved and mutating into a radical new rock’n’roll monument.
