Basket Case are back at the Jade!!

After a massive SOLD OUT show in Feb 2024, Basket Case are bringing their no frills show, BACK TO THE JADE. Over 90 minutes of Green Day hits and fan favourites will have you pumping your fists and singing at the top of your lungs. 

Opening the show is our very special guest Donni from It's Not A Phase. Playing an acoustic set of all your punk/pop fav's, it's guaranteed to get the good times flowing.

Under 18's are welcome, if accompanied by an adult. 

Here's a little info about Basket Case: For most of us, our first taste of GREEN DAY was the East Bay, punk rockers, career changing album “Dookie” which filled the airwaves with songs about slum living, relationships and masturbation. Their message has changed somewhat over the years, becoming more socially focused since the release of their career reviving “American Idiot”, but they have always shared a great story. They speak to so many of us, because they speak about peoples day to day lives.

Our purpose with creating BASKET CASE was to replicate the power and energy of a GREEN DAY extravaganza and with this show we get to deliver the fiery melodic pipe bombs of “Dookie”, as well as all the hits and fan favourites from albums like “American Idiot”, “Warning” and “21^st Century Breakdown”.
 BASKET CASE was formed in August of 2016 when members Jamie & Troi, who were working together in other musical projects, approached drummer Troy and bassist Craig with the idea. A couple of weeks later, a starting song list was decided upon and the 4-piece tribute band began rehearsals.

Since hitting the Adelaide live circuit in January 2017, BASKET CASE has entertained crowds north & south of the city, even as far as Victor harbour, Mt Gambier and Melbourne. Memorable moments include the 2019 Adelaide Fringe show at the Arkaba Hotel and a performance at the Tourific Prospect Street Party as part of the 2018 Tour Down Under. In 2021, due to covid and other commitments, a line up change brought in drummer Allan and a new Craig on bass. This current combo of 4 is tighter than ever and continues the goal that was originally set – deliver a rock extravaganza!!
