About the Balin Stewart Foundation:

Since the tragic loss of their son Balin on January 20, 2022, Michael and Kerri-Lyn Stewart have dedicated themselves to combating knife crime in his memory. Michael travels to schools across the Sunshine Coast, giving presentations to educate students about the dangers and consequences of knife crime. These sessions foster student interaction and discussion, encouraging responsibility and safer choices among youth. The community has rallied around the Stewart family, supporting various events and campaigns to promote safety and prevent future tragedies. Michael and Kerri-Lyn's efforts have become a beacon of hope and positive change in our community.
