Playing a double headline show with their good friends Special Patrol, Axe & the Ivory will be celebrating the launch of their first album and the end of their first east coast tour on Friday November 8th at the Crown & Anchor.

Special Patrol toured Australia over a period of six years and played many of the great Australian festivals and venues. Touring highlights include Falls Festival main stage 2006 and 2008, Big Day Out, Clipsal 500 After Race Concert with Powderfinger, Woodford Festival as well as tours and/or shows with Ben Kweller (USA), Paul Weller (UK), The Mountain Goats (USA), Maximo Park (UK), The Bees (UK), Idlewild (UK), Turin Brakes (UK), Donovan Frankenreiter (USA), Evermore (NZ), Paul Kelly, The Whitlam’s, Pete Murray, The Church, Little Birdy.
Axe & the Ivory
With two lead vocalists, enchanting harmonies and intricate guitar and banjo melodies, five-piece indie-folk band, Axe & the Ivory, is comprised of a bunch of best mates who grew up playing music together. Described as a songwriting force, they’ve recently played major Australian festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Wingham Music Festival and Cygnet Folk Festival and will be headed up the east coast on their first tour in October this year.
