Get the dancefloor ready because internationally-acclaimed record label Toy Tonics are returning to CLUB Ctrl on Saturday 7th December for the next TOY TONICS JAM adventure @ the Abercrombie. 

After 2023’s unbelievable debut tour with Cody Currie and Athlete Whippet, UNDR Ctrl proudly presents Sam Ruffillo (ITA) and Gee Lane (VEN) as this year’s exclusive headline artists, with the 2024 Toy Tonics tour travelling to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Auckland and Bali.

Sam Ruffillo is the Italo-American DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist champion of Toy Tonics. Coming from Sicily with roots in New York; Mediterranean disco, rare 80s Italo edits and funky house with Italian vocals are his absolute trademark. ‘Danza Organica’ and ‘Perfetta Cosi’ are standout anthems on the Toy Tonics label, backed up by EP’s ‘Italianissmo’, ‘Brooklyn Tapes’ and recent banger ‘Robot Salsa’, his sublime collab EP with label boss Kapote. 

Gee Lane is a Venezuelan house DJ and producer based in Barcelona. This year she released her 2nd Toy Tonics EP ‘Synesthesia’ to follow last year’s ‘Metamorphosis’. Mixing funky future house, rare disco edits, South American percussion, soulful techno and crazy dance riddims… Gee Lane is a passionate vinyl digger, vibe-boosting DJ and a living-breathing-fan of everything that came out of New York’s dance culture in the 90’s (think Body & Soul, Francois Kervorkian and Joe Claussell).

Toy Tonics is a German label founded in 2015 by artist and creative director Kapote. The TOY TONICS JAMS are LEGENDARY… sharing positivity and freedom of expression through the most uplifting events you’ll experience this year. It’s a music and art collective dedicated to soul and indie influenced electronic dance music, fashion, DJ culture and the fine art of throwing parties. TOY TONICS JAMS have weekly residences across all major European hotspots: London, Rome, Barcelona, Milan and Berlin, with takeovers at the legendary Panorama Bar @ Berghain. They host stages at Melt Festival, Calvi on the Rock and Dour Festival and their label artists include Cody Currie, Coeo, Sam Ruffillo, Barbara Boeing, Joel Holmes, Gee Lane, Army Brown, Kosmo Kint, Sound Support (aka Dam Swindle), Demuja, Luke Solomon and The Phenomenal Handclap Band.
