2025 Scott Group of Companies Mount Gambier Gold Cup

Join us for The Scott Group of Companies Mount Gambier Gold Cup to be held on Friday 21 March 2025. Enjoy a day trackside with entertainment, local food and wine, fashion and of course top quality racing.  And there's more than the cup day itself.  

Following last year's success, the Bernie Flood Property Conveyancing Calcutta will again be held at The Globe Hotel on Thursday March 20.  The calcutta is scheduled to start at 8:15pm and meals will be available before hand.  To reserve a table for pre-calcutta dining, please contact the Globe Hotel on 8723 0614. Calcutta raffle tickets are $5 each and are available from The Globe Hotel or Mount Gambier Racing Club Office.

Mount Gambier will be well and truly gripped with racing fever.

Enjoy the all inclusive options of catered and uncatered marquees, members luncheon or general admission including the Beer Garden area with food vans, live music and fashions or reserve a table in the Bookmakers Shed.

For the fashionistas, there will be Fashions on the Field, with prizes offered for Best Dressed Womenswear, Best Dressed Menswear and Duo's categories. 

Experience the real thunder of the hooves as the thoroughbreds pass by. Unite with the crowd cheering on your horse and jockey as they pass the winning on their way to completing a full lap of the circuit. Have a flutter at the various on-course TAB and Book Maker facilities provided.

Courtesy buses will leave from Jens and Globe Hotel Carpark in Mount Gambier and return after the last race.
