The Morrison Hotel first opened its doors across the road as Hotel Britannia! When that little pub unfortunately went up in flames the Morrison you know today was built. Trading only since 1927, The Morrison is a baby in the world of Brisbane’s traditional pubs, even so The Morrison Hotel’s restaurant ‘Fiascos’ has built a mighty reputation as Brisbane’s Best Steakhouse, and now the hotel also offers one of Brisbane’s most comprehensive choices of whisky in The Naked Whisky Bar.

Walking distance to the Gabba, having a char-grilled steak with the mushroom sauce has become the pre-game ritual for cricket and AFL fans alike (of course there is also the post-match ritual of the sneaky schooner whether it is to celebrate a win or to drown ones sorrows!).
