How To Update A Booking Confirmation Email Banner

Before You Begin

You may need an app to edit your code. You can use Notepad or any text editor, or any code editor you like/have access to. Code editors have the benefit of highlighting parts of the code in different colours but are not required to edit code.

Rename and Upload Assets

1) Rename the banner with a unique filename. EG: GTM17_ConfirmationEmail

2) Upload image to the Server in Site Admin → Uploads

Download your code

Please view the code builder in Confluence for your code.

Uploading Your Email

1) Go to Site Admin → Email Templates

Replacing an Existing Template:

2) Search for the Event Organiser, and Filter.

3) Using the edit pencil, replace the existing code with your new code, via copy & paste.

4) Use the magnify icon to preview that the email is loaded.


Creating a New Template:

2) Select Booking Confirmation - General

3) Enter the Event Organiser & Event

4) Paste your code into the field & save.

5) Go back to existing Templates to search for the Event Organiser, and Filter.

6) Use the magnify icon to preview that the email is loaded.
