The upload image was uploaded to Reddit of a row of Woolworths chickens with the word ‘shit’ scrawled on them.

Why is this so? Is this a statement of the quality of Woolies chickens themselves; a protest against egregious farming practices, or simply a scrawl-happy vandal?

The truth is a lot more innocent.

Stand on your head. It actually reads “7:45” which is the time the chickens were cooked – a common practice in the supermarket so that they know when to discount or dispose of them.
