Jeff Goldblum is responsible for one of Jurassic Park’s most iconic Ian Malcolm scenes

In an interview with Fox 32, Jeff Goldblum has revealed that his suggestion led to one of the films most beloved Malcolm moments.
Goldblum revealed that in that iconic, terrifying T-Rex attack scene where Lex and Tim are stuck under a Jeep; Malcolm was initially supposed to run away just like the films cowardly lawyer. Instead Goldblum suggested that his character do something “brave and heroic” and sparked both a road flare to divert the T-Rex’s attention away from the children and a flare in our hearts.
