This New Year's Day, Ministry of Sound is bringing the golden era of dance music to Brisbane for Ministry of Sound Classics.

Featuring a superstar lineup including Tonite Only, Stafford Brothers, John Course, Groove Terminator, Kid Kenobi and many more, Ministry of Sound Classics will take over Brisbane's newest entertainment venue, The Prince Consort, playing all your favourite dance tracks from the 90s and noughties and kicking off the new year in style. If you ever owned a Ministry of Sound compilation, this is the event for you!

"After spending much of the year up on blocks I'm keen as mustard to get back on the tools and drop some much loved classics on New Year's Day!" said Groove Terminator - and we couldn't agree more! 

"Thanks to COVID it's been way too long since I've had the chance to rock a proper dancefloor," adds Kid Kenobi. "And even longer since I've been able to do it with my old school homie MC Shureshock. I can't wait to relive some of the classic moments we've had over the years as well as play live some of the beats we laid done on our early 2000s Ministry of Sound mixes (which I still get asked about today!). It's gonna be epic!"

More recently known as The Elephant Arms Hotel, The Prince Consort as it was originally named, has fed, watered, and kept the secrets of all who ventured through since 1888, and now, thanks to new owners Tilley & Wills Hotels, it is taking its rightful place on Brisbane's centre stage. The venue features eight unique spaces, each offering a different experience and it will be the place to be this New Year's Day.
