5 Seconds Of Summer announce a massive 2018 Australian tour

No matter how far they go, we’ll always want 5 Seconds Of Summer back to tour their home country – the fab four have just announced a huge string of Australian all ages shows, touted the ‘Meet You There’ tour to celebrate the release of their upcoming third album Youngblood.
Kicking off this August, the boys will be making their way back to arenas around the country to give fans a taste of what the album has to offer, as well as tear through tracks from their now expansive back catalogue of tunes.
Next week, 5SOS will treat fans to snippets of what they could expect from the album with a slew of intimate shows along the east coast, however, considering the shows sold out pretty instantly, we’d suggest scooping up your spot at one of the upcoming shows ASAP. Tickets for all shows go on sale at 2pm, Friday, May 25, and fans are being given the chance to enter a pre-sale by pre-ordering Youngblood here.

‘Want You Back’ and ‘Youngblood’ signified a pretty significant stylistic change up for the band – the sleek pop and driving synthy sound is a modern and mature direction that has us THAT much more excited for what the entire album has to offer.
“After spending the last 5 years on the road since the age of 16, it was important we took time to reflect as individuals and now we’re coming back stronger and more unified than ever. These songs mean the world to us and we have held nothing back in writing and recording this album.”
“We’ve been rehearsing a lot of the new songs live and can’t wait to get back out on tour to connect with our incredible fans,” said the band about Youngblood.
