FAQs

- Where is Dashville?
Dashville 103 Kirkton Rd, Lower Belford NSW 2335, Australia

- On arrival, where do I check in?
Drive into Dashville, you’ll eventually come to the box office to have your tickets checked on arrival then directed to day parking or sent to campground to set up and park.

- We're not camping - where is day parking located?
Follow the above instructions, day parking is a short stroll to the arena.

- We are camping - Where is the campground? And how do we camp as a group?
The campground wraps around the bushland arena, so you'll be a short stroll through the gate from your camp set up to the stage. It's best to arrive together if you'd like to camp as a large group. If you want to grab a spot as a group, we suggest arriving on the Friday night. The grounds are vast so there's plenty of room for everyone, amongst the gum trees.

- What camping set up can I bring?
You're welcome to bring whatever you have! Caravan, motorhome, van, swag, tent... You park next to your set up. Some large/heavier caravans (over 21ft) may need to avoid wet or soft soil, at check in we can point you in the right direction - there's no such thing as a bad camp spot at Dashville. If you're not a camper but are keen to give it a whirl, try hiring a caravan or motorhome.

- Are there powered sites?
No, Dashville is a bushland campsite with no power. We can however hook you up to power for medical devices, please contact us on mail@dashville.com.au

- Is there a family camping area?
We encourage and direct families to a loosely designated spot in the campground that ushers will recommend on arrival. It's not exclusive to families, however we do encourage families to head that way.

- Is there Accessible Parking and pathways?
Dashville endeavours to provide an accessible event space for the community. There is accessible parking. The arena has designated pathways for wheelchair patrons, including an accessible viewing platform for the stage. There are accessible toilets in two locations. We encourage accessible patrons to reach out to us for any specific requirements. Please email us - mail@dashville.com.au

- What time do gates open?
Campground gates open at 2pm each day for new arrivals. For campers, Ruby’s Cafe breakfast will be open from 8am Saturday and Sunday serving hot/cold meals and espresso. The arena on Saturday opens at 5pm along with food and beverage options, with the concert kicking off shortly after.

- What amenities are at Dashville?
We have hot showers, flushing toilets, port-a-loos and hand washing facilities all within easy walking distance.

- Can we have a fire?
Strictly no fires.

- Can we bring gas bottles?
Yes, it must be in date. Out of date bottles can be confiscated.

- I've booked a tent, what is included?
Your tent will be set up for you with either single beds or a double and single, a light and door mat. BYO pillows, linen and blankets.

- Is there a dump point for waste cassettes?
No. There is no dump point at Dashville. The closest is at Branxton, a short 15 minute drive away.

- Will there be food and beverage available?
Yes. The event is licensed and the Bird Bath Bar will serve you well with a broad range of beer, wine, spirits. Ruby’s Cafe and Pizzeria will be serving daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. And based on attendance, there will be one or two other food stalls in the arena. Dietary requirements can be catered to, but please reach out if you have specific questions.

- Can we BYO alcohol and food?
You can BYO alcohol into the campground but strictly NO BYO alcohol in the arena. Please NO GLASS. BYO food is welcome in the campground and arena. Security will check bags upon entry to the arena for alcohol. Wine bottles are tentatively welcome for those mindful few, as long as it stays in your esky, served in vessels with no glass.

- Is there drinking water?
Yes - however we strongly encourage you to bring along some as we are on tank water.

- Can I bring glass?
No! We have a particular bushland environment with dirt and gum tree leaf litter that is not compatible with glass. Glass is almost impossible to detect in the dirt and leaf litter, and will cause harm to tyres, bare feet and our native wildlife. Any glass will be confiscated at the gate and returned on exit, this includes but is not limited to glass food containers, beverage glasses & stubbies of alcohol.

- Can I bring camp chairs, picnic rugs and a sweet set up for babies/toddlers into the arena?
Yes! Feel free to bring your cozy set up but please be mindful of those around you and what may impact their view. There's no bad spot in the arena!

- Our kids are coming, what can they do at Dashville?
Dashville is a venue with a long standing family friendly culture built on good times for all ages. There is a playground and sandpit within the arena and a half pipe for any keen skaters. Note - minors under 18 must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
