Accomplished singer and Harlem native Vivian Sessoms, having amassed credits as a backing vocalist for Chaka Khan, Rob Thomas, Donna Summer, Cher, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Pink, Patti Austin, and a host of others, has proven herself a fiery and forward-thinking artist in her own right.  

On her forthcoming release LIFE (Ropeadope Nov 2018), in collaboration with producer and multi-instrumentalist Chris Parks, Sessoms has displays an adventurous arranging sensibility and a refreshing disregard for genre boundaries. Her expressive, sophisticated sound draws on jazz, R&B and pop in fresh and moving ways, whether she's presenting her own material, reinterpreting "Strange Fruit" for our own troubled times, or reshaping classic pop, jazz & soul hits with a view toward transformation and constant surprise.  

Through it all, Sessoms soars in a voice that is full and robust, unerring in pitch, and utterly at home in a wide variety of feels and settings. Her singing has met with praise in Rolling Stone, Billboard, Ebony and other publications.

After several sold out shows throughout Australia & NZ, Ms. Sessoms returns to share her latest offering LIFE.

Some Dinner & Show Bookings may be on a communal table. Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability, we will do our best to accommodate.
