KING KARIM

As a DJ, producer, and event manager, King Karim has been at the forefront of Melbourne’s trance scene for decades. Having mastered the art of vinyl mixing before becoming a resident DJ at the iconic Viper Room in 1999, Karim has been a pivotal figure in shaping turnhe city’s club culture. His contributions include mixing the highly acclaimed Viper Room Vol 3 compilation CD and national tour, co-producing SanTrancisco (Blackhole Recordings/Mike Felks) and continuing to co-organise a myriad of events including Lick, Club Disco, Temple and most notably the legendary Viper Room parties.

Reflecting on his journey with Viper Room, Karim shares, “For over 25 years, Viper Room has been my life. The people, the music, the atmosphere—it all merges into one euphoric experience. As a Viper DJ, it’s the ultimate convergence of trance sub-genres—progressive, vocal, uplifting, tech, and hard. There’s nothing quite like seeing a packed dance floor of smiling faces and knowing we’re creating unforgettable memories together.”

Driven by a deep passion for trance, his years of experience and unique ability to blend in ear candy samples has solidified his reputation as a true ambassador for the Viper Room brand and the Melbourne trance community, consistently delivering electrifying performances that resonate with audiences old and new.

MIKE FELKS

Melbourne-based DJ, producer, and remixer Mike Felks is a seasoned artist with over 25 years of experience, tracing back to the golden era of the Melbourne club and trance scene (late '90s - early 2000s). His music, supported by industry heavyweights like Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, and Solarstone, has graced the Australian (ARIA) charts and resonated on commercial radio and DJ sets worldwide. Mike has had numerous releases across multiple labels including Pure Progressive/Black Hole Recordings, Flow State Recordings and True Music.

A club scene luminary and one the original Viper Room resident DJ’s, Mike contributed to the emergence of the all popular 'Anthems' events by being a part of Melbourne's thriving era. With a versatile style honed over the years, he refuses to be confined to one genre, seamlessly blending house, progressive, techno, and trance to create unforgettable dance floor moments.

Known for peak-time sets, Mike's current sound is described as driving, percussive, upfront, with a melodic and uplifting touch and a hint of nostalgia. He’s held residencies and played guest spots at most of Melbourne’s premier clubs and events, reflecting his commitment to adapting sets to the event, crowd, and timeslot. Evolving from rooftop Sunday sessions at The Motel to residencies and guest spots at iconic venues like Viper Room, Skin @ Dome, Room 680, Chasers, Seven, Billboards, Altitude and QBH. Most recent clubs and events include Viper Room Trance Anthems, Prince Bandroom, Pandora, Top Yard, Boutique and Onetribe Phoenix Rising Festival.

In 2004, Mike began remixing for Australia’s biggest dance record label, Central Station Records. He’s been on remix duties for iconic Australian and international artists like The Choirboys, James Reyne (Australian Crawl), legendary house diva Inaya Day (Mousse T. “Horny”, Keep Pushing”) and Joy Malcolm (Moby, Basement Jaxx) showcasing his versatility across genres.

Notably, he launched Flow State Recordings in late 2021, providing a platform for his boundary-breaking musical endeavors. Mike's journey is a testament to his dedication, reading the crowd's energy and crafting sets blending energy, melody, groove and vocals. He continues to dig deep, breaking future dance floor anthems and surprising crowds with forgotten gems of the past.

JOHNNY L

No stranger to the trance scene, Johnny L is an original Viper Room DJ with a style of his own.  Starting his career overseas, Johnny built on this foundation to be a driving representative of the Melbourne clubbing culture that has transpired and evolved over time.

With over 30 years of experience, Johnny has become a favourite at countless events and as a skilled radio presenter known for his flawless mixing, he's well-equipped to bring you the very best that trance music has to offer.

AHMET ATASEVER

Ahmet Atasever is a seasoned producer and DJ, who has a number of notable releases tied to his name. His first major record was released on Solarstone’s Touchstone records which caught the attention of legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold who added it to his BBC Radio One Essential Mix. Ahmet’s productions didn’t stop there as his follow up record “Traversing” made it onto Armin van Buuren’s; A State of Trance radio show. This was just the start of what was about to come from Ahmet as support for his productions continued to grow to include some of the biggest DJ’s from across the globe with the likes of Above & Beyond,Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, MarkusSchulz, Cosmic Gate, W&W, Aly & Fila, Ruben de Ronde, MaRLo and many more. Ahmet’s productions have also been a fan favourite including “Trading Halo’s” having spent several weeks in the beatport top 10 charts and more recently Deja Visite / Sonder. Ahmet’s time in the studio is not showing any signs of slowing down with new music and many collaborations on the horizon.

Ahmet’s talents extend beyond the studio and onto the stage where his DJ skills have caught the attention of many party goers as well as promoters. He has been heavily regarded as one of the best in the industry and has been sought after to feature alongside many acts throughout Australia which include Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila and many more. Ahmet has featured at major festivals throughout Australia and abroad including Reminisce, Sensation, Trance Energy, Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen, Stereosonic & Slinky, and his podcast ‘Voyage to Valinor’ has allowed him to express his unique style and his versatility with fans from across the globe.
