GET READY FOR BIGSOUND 

On Wednesday 30 August VMDO (Victorian Music Development Office) and the Brunswick Ballroom present a FREE ENTRY industry event which aims to help delegates and artists prepare for attending the Australian Music Industry's premier music industry conference BIGSOUND. The 2023 event runs from September 5-8 in Fortitude Valley in Brisbane and will feature over 150 showcasing artists from Australia and New Zealand, as well as many panels and keynote speeches.

Now in its 22nd year, BIGSOUND is your annual opportunity to discover the future of Australian music. Running over four days and three nights, Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley comes alive with a global gathering of musicians, industry, brands, media and music lovers.

This Victorian pre-event gathering includes a panel featuring Tom Larkin of BIGSOUND in discussion with manager Cara Williams on how to get the most from your BIGSOUND experience, followed by live performances from Charm of Finches, Sophisticated Dingo, IZY, Porpoise Spit and Rebel Yell, each playing their 30 minute BIGSOUND showcase set.

Entry is free, however registration is essential. There are no transaction fees to register for free

Please have a digital or printed copy of your ticket ready on arrival along with a valid photo ID. Acceptable ID includes a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
