The Villains

Well, it's been 20 years since the conception of THE VILLAINS. 

 We are so excited to announce s part of our limited 20th Anniversary Shows, the return of The Viliians to  

Heathcote Hotel for 1 night only - Saturday November 30, 2024 

The Beginning Of The Villians 

So we can't believe it's been 20 years. It was that long ago that the bass player guy met that guitarist guy and then they met that drummer guy and started to jam, just the 3 of us in a garage, while we were searching for the singer. We tried several singer guys but there was ONLY ONE who could fit the job description.  

We eventually found the singer guy and the band was complete. We already had our version of ‘I Ran (Flock of Seagulls)’ and some other songs that we 'Villainised' and things were coming together. We were having fun. 

 So what should we call this band? Hmmm, 

That Guitarist guy says, “I've always wanted to be Darth Vader in a band” (ok, that's unusual we thought). Next the drummer guy says, "well let's call the band 'The Villains', and so 'THE VILLAINS' were born in The Joker’s little garage.  

The 1st and 2nd shows were at Yallah Roadhouse (do you remember that venue?) We didn’t expect the response we got. We saw people moving toward the stage with cameras and after such a positive response we thought, WOW we might be onto something here. 

 By 2006, we started delivering shows at Towradgi Beach Hotel Sports Bar and WAVES, this followed shortly with many many sold out shows at Heathcote Hotel from 2009 to 2015.  

We feel very privileged and grateful to have such great fans, friends and the members in the band still have a great friendship 20 years later. We’ve been going so long our first social media page was on Myspace!
