The songs of David Bowie glitter like space dust in the dexterous hands of Melbourne acoustic harmony trio, The Thin White Ukes. From Major Tom to Ziggy Stardust, “Heroes” to Let’s Dance, the ingenious minimalist arrangements of Betty France, Michael Dwyer and Robert Stephens have enchanted Bowie devotees and newcomers alike for nine ch-ch-ch-changing years.

Ballroom favourites The Thin White Ukes promise a glamtastic climax to their 2024 summer tour with two sumptuous sets of David Bowie classics and deep cuts, ingeniously arranged for three voices and precision acoustic strings. Featuring special guest appearances by Ashley Naylor (Even, Thee Marshmallow Overcoat, Paul Kelly band) and pianist Oscar France (Toqui). 

Put on your red shoes … they’ll be floating in a most peculiar way.
